Enjoy a hearty dinner and overnight at Ahadi Lodge, resting well for the days ahead.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park – Elephants & Baobabs

After breakfast, head into the wild at Tarangire National Park, a sanctuary known for its ancient baobabs and one of the largest elephant populations in East Africa.

The park comes alive with wildlife: giraffes grazing on acacias, wildebeests and zebras marching across the savannah, and predators lurking in the background. During migration season, Tarangire bursts with up to 25,000 wildebeests, 30,000 zebras, and 3,000 elephants an unforgettable sight.

As evening falls, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Lake Manyara Safari Lodge.

Accommodation

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park – Tree-Climbing Lions

Start your day with a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, a jewel of the Rift Valley. The shimmering soda lake attracts thousands of flamingos, painting the waters pink, while elephants move gracefully through the forest.

Lake Manyara is also famous for its tree-climbing lions, a rare and fascinating sight. Keep your eyes peeled for these big cats lounging on acacia branches. Afterward, retreat to Marera Valley Lodge for a peaceful evening surrounded by the highlands.

Accommodation

Day 4: Lake Eyasi – Cultural Encounters

Today is about people as much as wildlife. Travel to Lake Eyasi, home to the Hadzabe, one of Tanzania’s last remaining hunter-gatherer tribes. Join them in a morning hunt and learn about their ancient survival techniques, deeply tied to the land.

Later, visit the Datoga tribe, skilled blacksmiths who practice age-old ironworking traditions. This cultural exchange offers a rare glimpse into traditional life that has endured for centuries. Spend another night at Marera Valley Lodge.

Accommodation

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Africa’s Natural Wonder

After breakfast, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the Eighth Wonder of the World. The crater floor is a natural sanctuary for the Big Five lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and the rare black rhino — along with wildebeests, hippos, zebras, and countless bird species.

Stop at Lake Magadi, where flamingos gather in shimmering flocks. As evening approaches, head to Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge for dinner and overnight, the crater rim mist rolling in as night falls.

Accommodation

Day 6: Serengeti National Park – Into the Endless Plains

Your journey continues to the iconic Serengeti National Park, but first, a stop at Olduvai Gorge — a world-famous archaeological site that holds the secrets of human origins.

Once inside the Serengeti, game drives reveal a living tapestry of predators and prey: lions stalking in the tall grass, cheetahs sprinting across the plains, and herds of wildebeests and zebras moving as far as the eye can see. Overnight at Tanzania Bush Camp, surrounded by the wild.

Accommodation

Day 7: Full Day in Serengeti – The Great Migration

Devote a full day to exploring the Serengeti. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Wildebeest Migration, where millions of wildebeests and zebras thunder across the plains or brave the perilous Mara River crossings.

Even outside the migration, the Serengeti is teeming with life: elephants moving silently, giraffes silhouetted against the sky, and hyenas cackling as dusk falls. Another night at Tanzania Bush Camp completes the experience.

Accommodation

Day 8: Lake Natron – A Rugged Beauty

Leave the Serengeti behind and journey to the remote beauty of Lake Natron. Known for its hauntingly beautiful landscapes, this alkaline lake is a breeding ground for flamingos and is framed by dramatic volcanic scenery.

In the evening, enjoy a sunset walk along the lakeshore the fiery sky reflected in the still waters creates a surreal, almost otherworldly scene. Overnight at Masai Eco Giraffe Lodge.

Day 9: Return to Arusha – Farewell Tanzania

Wake to the wild beauty of Natron before beginning your journey back to Arusha. Depending on time, you may explore more of Natron’s landscapes or simply relax as you retrace your route.

On arrival in Arusha, you’ll be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your onward flight. Though the safari ends, the memories from Serengeti sunsets to Tarangire elephants and Ngorongoro’s breathtaking views will stay with you forever.
