Day 1: Tarangire National Park – The Land of Giants

Your adventure begins early in the morning as your guide picks you up from your hotel or the airport in Arusha. Enjoy a scenic drive through Tanzania’s countryside on your way to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its vast herds of elephants and iconic Baobab trees.

As you explore, you’ll quickly see why Tarangire is called the “Home of the Elephants.” The park’s lifeline, the Tarangire River, attracts an incredible variety of animals from graceful giraffes and zebras to powerful lions, leopards, and elusive cheetahs. Bird enthusiasts will also find paradise here, with hundreds of colorful species soaring through the skies.

After a full day of game viewing and photography, head to Marera Valley Lodge for a delicious dinner and a relaxing overnight stay surrounded by nature’s tranquility.
